Custom area rugs by Rug Rats are more than just floor coverings... they're works of art!

This is one of our favorite jobs - the floors of the home are marble and aluminum. We measured all the areas and exchanged ideas with the homeowner by e-mail and fax until we decided on the designs for the area rugs. The end result is an impressive whole-house theme that we at Rug Rats are extremely proud of!

Our hand-made rugs are wonders to behold!

Bedroom

This is a take off on the Chrysler building in New York City (Sandy's favorite building!) The customer had an outline of Chicago on the bedroom wall. We thought a building would make a great area rug for this room!

Kitchen

Sandy measured this rug herself! The kitchen had a lot of angles in it, so we decided on a stripe pattern using the colors in the rest of the rugs.

Dressing Room

This is the vanity area off the master bedroom. A contemporary feel area rug with a light contemporary rug design.

Eat-in Dining Area

The eat-in also had many angles in the bay window. This rug was at the end of the striped kitchen rug, so we decided to use a light design so it wouldn't over power the otherarea rugs.

Dining Room

This rug has 4 different angles to fit into the area for the table, that was placed on a diagonal.

Foyer

This is a version of a Matisse painting, providing a provocative first impression to all the home's visitor's.

This fantastic art-inspired design is based on Kandinsky art.

Saxophone Man

This went with the Chrysler building in the Master BR. Since the Chrysler was Art Deco, we thought that a man playing a sax complemented the Art Deco theme perfectly!
