Seagrass is mostly raised in the water off China and India. Of all the natural fibers that are made into broadloom, Seagrass is my favorite! It cleans up very well from spills. Since the fiber was grown in water,
when cleaning, there are no watermarks left, like in sisal. Seagrass also cures over time. This means that it slowly changes its coloring. Sometimes Seagrass will come in looking green, because it has been newly processed. It will cure to a brown tone. Also, Seagrass has a mottled look to it. This helps in hiding dirt, lint, and the messiness of everyday living. Seagrass is all around the best natural fiber floorcovering!
